Patient Admissions Coordinator for the Emergency Department at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR.

On-Call/Variable Shift - Covering Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays.

The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.



• National Certification of CHAA upon hire.



• 3 years experience in Patient Access of Business office setting.



• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.



• 3 years Utilization of medical terminology in job setting.



• Knowledge in medical billing codes.



• 1 year knowledge of Epic applications

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
