Job Requirements
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency/Observation Department on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong clinical skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations. $15,000 Sign On Bonus eligible.
Key Responsibilities: - Assess and monitor patients in the emergency and observation units. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical care interventions. - Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records. - Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment care. - Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training. - Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
Work Experience
Qualifications
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.
- More than 12 months nursing experience. Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Must meet all unit specific certification requirements:(PALS, ACLS)
