Our strength in healthcare innovation empowers us to build a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured, where treatments are smarter and less invasive, and solutions are personal. Through our expertise in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, we are uniquely positioned to innovate across the full spectrum of healthcare solutions today to deliver the breakthroughs of tomorrow and profoundly impact health for humanity. Learn more at <a href="https://url.us.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/MR_SCqxD2Oivo14wsZygBQ?domain&#61;jnj.com/" target="_blank"><u>https://www.jnj.com/</u></a>.</p></div><div><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><div><ul><li>Support global process improvements, production floor activities, and production transfer efforts through regular meeting coordination and participation.</li><li>Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across global operations.</li><li>Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to analyze process trends, communicate data‑driven issues, and identify opportunities for process and yield improvements.</li><li>Support commercial production of new products, product changes, and enhancements in partnership with Operations, Product Development, and Quality Assurance.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, GMP, GDP, FDA QSR, and ISO regulations.</li><li>Assist with developing and maintaining process documentation (assembly/test procedures, routers, travelers, BOMs, process flows, process FMEAs).</li><li>Help execute process validations, including generating validation plans, protocols, and reports.</li><li>Qualify and optimize processes and tooling through IQ/OQ/PQ, Gage R&amp;R, Process Capability Studies, and DOE.</li><li>Participate in failure investigations and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, and processes while staying current on relevant medical and technical developments.</li><li>Partner with product development teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability, testability, and inspection.</li></ul></div><p></p><div><h3><b>Education</b></h3><ul><li>Junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in <span>Biomedical engineering, Mechanical engineering</span><span>, Industrial engineering or related fields.</span></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Required Skills</b></h3><ul><li>Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt preferred).</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul></div><p></p><h3><b>Preferred Skills</b></h3><ul><li>Prior work experience preferred; medical device experience is a plus.</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP preferred.</li></ul><p></p><p>Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.  Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.</p><p></p><p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
