This role goes far beyond traditional executive assistant responsibilitiesit's a dynamic partnership focused on maximizing the executives impact and aligning operations, communications, and relationships across the business. <br>You will operate as a trusted advisor and right hand, managing day-to-day operational flow, ensuring the executive is focused on the highest-value activities. <br>The Services Technology team at Mastercard is responsible for the Services engineering and technology estate, including data infrastructure, analytical tools, critical technology platforms such as the Data Warehouse and Decision Management Platform, our acquired Services technology assets, and the engineering teams supporting each of our four Services product groups. <br><br>Role: <br> Manage and optimize complex calendars, meetings, travel, and event logistics. <br> Act as a gatekeeper and facilitator for internal and external requests. <br> Anticipate needs, prepare briefs and materials, and proactively manage shifting priorities. <br> Partner with Chief of Staff or leadership to support operational planning and strategy reviews. <br> Prepare agendas, synthesize notes, and ensure accountability on next steps. <br>Communication & Relationship Management <br> Draft and manage high-level correspondence, presentations, and reports. <br> Interface confidently with senior leaders, clients, board members, and external partners. <br> Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and executive presence at all times. <br>Operational Excellence <br> Continuously improve workflows, tools, and processes to drive efficiency. <br> Own recurring processes such as quarterly business reviews, goal tracking, or key reports. <br> Support internal events, leadership offsites, or company-wide communications. <br><br>All About You:<br> Significant experience supporting C-level or SVP-level executives in fast-paced, complex, and highly matrixed organizations.<br> Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting executive communications, presentations, and briefing materials.<br> High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters.<br> Expert calendar and priority management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and navigate competing demands.<br> Proven experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and partnering effectively with senior stakeholders.<br> Strong business acumen with exposure to operations, strategy, or corporate functions.<br> Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), along with collaboration tools such as Copilot and Zoom.<br> Experience organizing executive travel (domestic and international), leadership meetings, board materials, and large-scale events.<br> Financial coordination experience including expense management, budget tracking, and vendor oversight.<br> Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, exercise sound judgment, and represent leadership with professionalism and executive presence.<br> Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations, Communications, or a related field, is desired. <br> Professional experience in startup, technology, consulting, or corporate environments, is desired.<br><br><br>This role is not eligible for Mastercards work authorization sponsorship. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
