Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor, Full-time, Permanent
The Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor is responsible for assigning and competing all jobs in the Mail Center to meet the needs of the university.
In order to maintain a welcoming environment for prospective students, students, community members, and visiting university staff, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise two or more staff members in mail center operations
- Ensure that all mailings are compliant with USPS rules and regulations
- Maintain and approve online postage accounts for all university locations
- Evaluate the most efficient and cost-effective methods to deliver mail and packages for the university
- Maintain inventory of supplies for departments in the university
- Complete all postage, shipping and purchasing reports
- Provide excellent customer service, including telephone, e-mail or in person inquiries
- Actively participate in university activities
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must be reachable for appointment from the appropriate Civil Service eligible list for the title;
OR
Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c service in this title and eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law;
Work Hours: Monday - Friday - 7:30am - 3:30pm
Work Address: 111 West Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY
Additional Information:
Salary: SG-12 $50,425 - $61,548
