A Brief Overview
Experienced level knows how to apply theory and put into practice with in depth understanding health care practices; independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possess broad job knowledge;analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.

What you will do
  • Expertise of Liaison III skills and knowledge PLUS:
  • Functions as a preceptor to new staff
  • Complex appointment, procedure and surgery scheduling requiring strong knowledge of procedures and department protocols
  • Interprofessional collaboration with physicians, APPs, RNs, and other department staff in their designated program
  • Complex care coordination: procedure/surgical add-ons, admissions, multi-disciplinary procedure/surgical clearances, inpatient transfers, blood bank
  • Coordinates and facilitates authorization process - informs patient's authorization and collects payment for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system
  • Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards
  • Coordinates care by scheduling, editing and maintaining routine patient physician appointments for new and returning patients

Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associates degree in health-related field from an accredited college or university OR Bachelor's degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications
  • Three or more years of overall experience

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $36.66 - $41.30 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
