Security Officer - Security Department at Covenant Health Levelland Hospital in Levelland, TX

Available Shift: Day

Under general supervision, patrols assigned areas of the CHS campus to deter, detect and investigate crime and/or any suspicious activity, which could cause harm to individuals or property. Provides information and assistance to patients, employees and visitors. Writes detailed incident reports, and various other reports as required. Takes and maintains control of disruptive individuals for arrest by Lubbock Police Department, when situations warrant this action.

Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to Covenant Health Levelland Hospital in Levelland, TX.

Required Qualifications:

• Texas Non-Commissioned Security Officer - Texas Private Security Board - Texas Department of Public Safety within 30 days of hire -OR-



• New Mexico Security Guard Registration - New Mexico Private Investigation Advisory Board within 30 days of hire



• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.



• 1 year of Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or Police experience, preferably within a hospital or campus environment

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
