SAP Functional Consultant

Work You'll Do
- Support SAP implementation and transformation efforts, including hands-on participation in SAP S/4HANA programs and ECC-to-S/4 modernization initiatives.
- Configure SAP functionality to enable business process requirements and support fit-to-standard adoption where appropriate.
- Partner with business and technical teams to document requirements, assumptions, risks, issues, and key decisions across the implementation lifecycle.
- Prepare for and support process design workshops, helping guide stakeholders toward standardized processes and SAP leading practices.
- Collaborate with integration and data teams on interface design considerations, conversion dependencies, and data migration planning for complex ERP programs.
- Develop, maintain, and/or govern core implementation deliverables such as solution design documents, configuration rationale, test scripts, cutover inputs, deployment readiness materials, and status updates.
- Support integrated testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate end-to-end functional requirements.
- Contribute to cutover planning, deployment support, and stabilization activities to help drive smooth implementation outcomes.
- Operate effectively in regulated environments by incorporating controls, audit readiness, compliance, and documentation expectations into functional design and delivery activities.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- 2+ years experience in a combination of the following areas:
- Working in regulated environments with strong understanding of ERP controls, audit readiness, and compliance expectations
- Producing and/or governing core implementation deliverables (e.g., solution/design documentation, configuration rationale, test artifacts, cutover plans, deployment readiness materials)
- Documenting requirements, assumptions, risks, issues, and decisions across functional and technical teams
- Supporting integrated testing activities (e.g., Unit, SIT, UAT, etc.) for functional business process requirements
- 1+ years experience delivering SAP implementations, including hands-on participation in SAP S/4HANA transformations
- 1+ years experience with direct configuration experience in SAP S/4 HANA and/or ECC
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience supporting DoD, and/or U.S. Federal civilian agencies on ERP modernization programs
