Katrina Fountain, Entrepreneur, and Philanthropist, Katrina grew up as an army brat and has lived all over the United States and overseas. Upon graduating from high school, Katrina moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend the highly regarded University of Southern California where she obtained a B.A. in English and Political Science. She later went on to receive a Masters degree in Social Work at the same university.
During her time at USC, Katrina became heavily involved in public policy and service through her work on Capitol Hill. Shortly after her career in Washington ended, Katrina began working with various non-profit organizations. One of the most important things she learned on Capitol Hill was how influential these organizations are in shaping policy and this realization led her to pursue a Master of Social Work degree. Since receiving this honor, Katrina has dedicated herself to strengthening the organizational structure and financial security of these particular agencies. To this end, she started a consulting business that serves as a means to assist non-profits, service driven organizations, and small businesses in building their capacities. Her work encompasses organizational development, relationship building, professional development and training, research and evaluation, management of funds, and other business solutions. While this work has been rewarding, it was her venture in August of 2007 that has proven to be her biggest adventure yet. Seeking a way to better support her clients, Katrina was introduced to a company called FDI Youngevity. At first glance, this company seemed to be the missing link that would provide her clients with all the financial and business solutions that were outside of her expertise. Little did she know, however, this company would soon change her life. In just a couple years, she was able to build a successful team, becoming a Top Income Earner. Through her efforts with FDI Youngevity, Katrina has been able to help more individuals, as well as organizations then she ever imaged.
