Dear Mr. Gaddy: My life has been enormously enriched by the black men and women who have written movingly of their struggles and triumphs over the cneturies. I am pleased to see that you are expanding your vision of educating people in Black History--and as a teacher and writer, I can only applaud your efforts and wish you well. As soon as I write this, I would like to send a friendship request--and I hope you honor me by accepting!!! PEACE AND BLESSINGS, Rich

Mr Gaddy The Eastern Shore is about 200 miles from Hagerstown, the summers are nice here because we have Ocean City with the Atlantic Ocean. By the way,I went to an unveiling of Harriet Tubman sculpture at Salisbury State, today. Well that is progress since SU is about 95% white students and teachers. Anyway keep up the good work with your blogs. Friend

Hello Hugh, I just want to say again, I am impressed with the way you put that information out there.
Tagged by Cynthia Polk on 08/29/2009
Hugh, as you will notice my reaction on your blog of Mr. Garvey and how it got to me on a personal basis...It is very upsetting to realize that still in this day and age lack of proper information about our history and just plain old lazness has us so hating each other who dares to speak the truth about our own race and culture...but, thank you for doing all you can to make us aware of our PROUD history as BIA.(SMILE)
Tagged by ROBINSON IRMA on 08/17/2009
Hugh, the more I read your daily post on our history the more excited I become about just how much more has been added to the Black history departments. my husband is going to want to find you and either thank you or beat you up , because at 67, I want to go back to college again(smile) I am trying to reasuer my husband that I only want to take a few classes...he knows too well how when I get my head in a book I loose all touch with the out side world(smile)I hope that you sell books as we have some great authors on this site. Mozell is my favorite poet amonge many others on this site...but, I am sure a lot of tose you post information about will not be easy to find in our book stores. Me I will fight them each and every day until they get these books on their slelves but this is a part of my calling to fight. We do need a way to find things we want any place we are...I would like to hear more about your business...
