My BlackInAmerica.com Profile
Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
Because I am an African-heritaged-American born here in America and I am and will always be concerned about myself in any land and concerned about my people wherever we might dwell. We need each other no matter what race, creed or color because we are all in the same ship now. We need each other here in America like we need the air because if we fail each other on any important front then we need to fail. We have all the information and hopefully that will get us the needed ammunition to continue to prosper here on Earth. My grandfather was born into slavery sometime 1853 and remained a slave until the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by Pres. Licoln. I did not know him because he died before Iwas born (though he lived to be 105 years old) in Oklahoma, but the stories that my father told stayed with me and fueled my thoughts about "Us" in America and about what America means to us. I could write a book about it but I'll simply say that it has been and is still an experience. Thankfully though, my parents were GOD fearing, fair-minded, clear-thinking individuals and it led me to be the same. I credit my parents for my life and my fortune. I am not rich accept in the Lord but I know how to treat people. If we can all learn that wonderful thing, then I believe we can ALL make this place we call Planet Earth a better place to live.

Who is the artist? Is the painting from your hand? If not do you know who the artist is? Also is this a fashion show runway you are walking toward the camera on?
