Why Are You Concerned About Black America:

I am concerned about America in general. But because I am an African American woman, there are problems that I and other African Americans face that are not the norm for all of America. It is not easy and no one said that it would be, that is being black in America. It is possible if we all pull together and stop hating ourselves and each other, to not only exist but thrive in America! That is what I am about and what is important to me building up my brothers and sisters. Especially my sisters. We are not accustom to celebrating each other and our sisterhood, we need, no we HAVE to do better!
