Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
I am more concerned about our children and their values. I am concerned that we are leaving them to raise themselves. Our future, our legacy, our race resides with how they are nutured and guided. We need to be more of a family sharing a common purpose not just blood. I believe we all need to be involved in Black children's lives in some form or fashion.

Hello, I am impressed with your page. I haven't met to many black sociologist. I am one myself in persuit of my MA. One of my major interest of study is African Americans. I ask myself why do blacks continuely rank low on the statistics compared to other races? Basically I have track them thru history of this nation, than looked at West Africa. Finally I was led to the Bible which gives description of the curse on canaan. This seems to still have some relevants, what do you think with all your experience with black folk?
