Q&A With sonya narcisse

How do you feel we, as blacks in the 21st centeury collectively and individually, can best improve our communities and future as a people in this coun
"I think that we should follow the dictates of the Bible. We should make sure that our own children are ok. Teach our children to be strong men and women, and when we are sure they are ok, our neices and nephews, than our neighbors and so on. So often, we step on the heads of those who are close to us, crying out for help. We leave our families and neighbors to go do mission work in other place, when we don't have ourselves together. We should "take the plank out of our eye, before we take the toothpick out of someone elses."

Being slow to anger is not neccesarily a fault from where I am sitting. It shows that you are a caring person who looks for the good in people. That being said, we of course have to guard ourselves from those who view our kindness as a weakness. Thank you for responding...

I handle anger by channeling the energy thru a positive avenue and trying to find the positive in every situation. I know this may sound unemphathetic but it is actually true for me. Over time, I have learned that if you look for negativity and things that are wrong, you are sure to find it. So I thought, why not reverse this process and look for the good? How do you handle anger?
