About   (request update)
I am the creator of Mama’s Boyz, an award-winning comic strip that has been distributed by King Features Syndicate since 1995, making me one of the few syndicated African-American cartoonists in the country. I've published two books, Mama's Boyz: As American as Sweet Potato Pie! and my newest one Mama’s Boyz: Home Schoolin’. both show the humorous and POSITIVE sides of the life of an African-American family. Fans of the book start at about 8 years old and go into adulthood. I pride myself on making a product that both kids AND their parents can read and enjoy.

I've done illustrations for Essence Magazine, comic books, greeting cards, book covers, and have recently illustrated my first children’s book called "Hillary's Big Business Adventure." Mama’s Boyz was also featured in Chicken Soup For The African American Soul.

Hey man! Your work is great! From one artist to another WOW! I wanted to get into comic writing/drawing too. I had the opportunity to teach junior high school kids Anime and Comic, but unfortunately I was let go from that position, because I needed a bit more experience. LOL. Maybe one day though. God Bless, Bryan
