Hamisi Robinson is a Independent TV Producer/ Director of Photography and Media Consultant. He got his start in the business working in local news at WLNS TV, the CBS affiliate in Lansing Michigan as a news photographer, chief photographer and producer. From Lansing Hamisi moved on to WXYZ TV - ABC in Detroit covering news and sports followed by WWJ TV - CBS Detroit, where he held positions as news and sports photographer, satellite truck operator and ENG equipment coordinator. In 2002 Hamisi explored freelance opportunities and began working for CBS Newspath, CBS News, BET, ABC News, CNN, NBC Universal, Saudi TV, NHK Japan, CNBC TV, a few primetime reality programs and many more. Hamisi also is the Executive Producer of Real Life: Sex, Love and Relationships. Hamisi brings 16 years of experience in various aspects of television production, ranging from the technical to editorial side and covers everything from news and sports to entertainment and corporate. His work has taken him everywhere from the White House to hurricanes and everything else in between.

If faced with an opportunity to interview Barack Obama with one question. What would you ask?
Current Whereabouts:
I just love talking to people. I'm a communicator by nature. If a day goes by and I don't learn anything new....I'm disappointed.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
To produce documentaries that are educational, thought provoking and inspirational.

Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
Simply put. The HIV/AIDS rates are high among African Americans...that's a problem. A dis-proportioned number of black men are imprisoned....that's a problem. What's the rate...nearly 7-1 of black women to black men in college.....that's a problem. And this is the tip of the iceberg. I'm concerned.
