"I am bringing resources to my black people in terms of providing free seminars to advance their personal and professional development, reaching out to the community to raise their awareness about organizations that white people are utilizing to advance themselves like Toastmasters, Rotary Club and other volunteer organizations; and I have created a networking group called Chitown Buppies (http://www.chitownbuppies.com) to provide a forum for Chicagoland black urban professionals to network and share resources.
One of my primary frustrations in life is that black people can be so close-minded and unaware but we expect so much. Our minds are powerful. We are very creative and a highly intelligent people. But our minds are also like a parachute, unless it is open, it doesn't work."

She enjoys the personal satisfaction of knowing that her focus on intention, planning and action often makes a huge impact in the ease of transitions to management. An entrepreneur at heart, her biggest joy is in calling people forth to embrace their personal mission by defining a clear, achievable vision for the future. Her own mission is to help others build a bridge between their dreams and ultimate reality by making positive, sustaining and measurable changes in all aspects of their lives. Past clients have included executives from BP Amoco, Morningstar, Pepsi-Co and a number of non-profit organizations and smaller corporations throughout the U.S.
When she is not giving generously of her time, she enjoys watching movies with her two children in their Edgewater home or sweating out her latest chocolate binge at her local gym.
