Q&A With TaNisha Gray Juisee Da Queen

What is the most important mission in life you would like to accomplish?
"For right now my most important mission being the best mother I can be to raise my 5 sons to be great men (Kings) of integrity and character. Being a mother is the most important job given to women by God! "

Interviewed by Min.Dr.LaDonna Blaylock D.D. 10/17/08

Have you ever had to overcome anything life?
"I have had to overcome many obstacles in life. I don't regret my life nor the trials and tribulations I've faced, if it hadn't been for the things that have taken place in my life I wouldn't be the strong woman I am today. I thank God for giving me the strength and seeing me through my life especially in those times when I didn't think I'd make it through."

Interviewed by WILLIAM W. HEMMANS III 10/17/08

What one thing would you like to change in the world?
"I would like to change self hatred. Society has taught our children through subliminal messages that you have to be a certain color, size or social status to accomplish things in this world giving them the idea that they aren't good enough which causes this self hate."

Interviewed by Barbara Dixon 10/06/08

What makes you special to others?
"The fact that I treat/see people as individuals who deserve a chance no matter how someone else sees them I use my judgment getting to know who they are and what they bring to my life. The compassion and understanding I possess knowing that in life everyone needs someone and it's at those times when they're saying nothing much at all that they're really saying everything."

Interviewed by NINA DUPONT 10/06/08

Can you live a successful life with Bipolar Disorder?
"I think with the proper support system (doctors, family & friends) that people who have bipolar can live happy, healthy and successful lives."

Interviewed by agnes levine 10/06/08

What are you willing to bring to the table of unity and visionary growth?
"I am willing to bring whatever knowledge and help I can. I don't know about all things but what I do know I'm willing to share in an effort to shed light, uplift and edify the minds as well as spirits of our people."

Interviewed by This is Bren 10/06/08

What are you doing personally to make a change in the black community?
"I do my best to uplift and edify anyone I come into contact with in our communities... As a survivor of domestic it hurts my soul to see another sister "Living In Fear" so with that being said I reach for her inner being hoping to build a firm foundation of self-worth so she too can become a survivor... As a mother of 5 boys I have relationships with them as well as their many associates and try to instill in them that first impressions go a long way but first and foremost to be honorable in all they do in the hopes that they will all become men of great character because unlike some I haven't given up the fight for our children they are truly our future."

Interviewed by chivonne lawson 09/02/08

What do you really want out of life?
"Peace of mind, happiness being content with the life I've lived, the people whose lives I've touched and having raised my boys to be men of character, integrity, honor and respect."
