About   (request update)
Hello Everyone,
my name is Terence Merritt. I am located in the Stone Mountain, GA area. I’ve taught college for over four years here in Atlanta. I am pursuing second Master's degree. My goals are to find a way to obtain my dream job. This is the sharing of knowledge and conducting research in my chosen field. There are advanced degrees in many fields that require more full-time professors, such as business, engineering, health science or computer science. These fields can also offer job security in the private sector if you are unable to find a university teaching job. I like to teach and share knowledge. I work as a Setup Configuration Specialist in Atlanta, GA and I am seeking to work while teaching at a college or university part-time.
I have also author one book and have another on the way. The title is “Love Is Not Enough” If you would like to read it you can find it on Amazon, and Barnes & Nobles.
When I was in the military I traveled to Germany and Korea. I also taught at WestPoint while at Fort Campbell, KY. There’s something about the academe that draws me in. Back in 2002 having an MBA degree had a "plummeting reputation". This was stated in an article by (Conan Tobias; Hard Knocks). The enrollments were falling not only in Canada but also in North America. There was a time having an MBA you were almost guaranteed a six figure salary. Now, only time will tell if having this MBA only will be enough.
The Master’s degree is the best known and most widely recognized post graduate degree. This degree is a professional degree used in management and business to further an individual in managerial positions. For most this is a management degree, and it is necessary in order to progress in the business/IT and any employment society. The best way to navigate a career change is to plan carefully. So that is why I am here seeking this degree and I do love learning. So welcome all and if I can be of any help to you please do call or e-mail
