Why Are You Concerned About Black America:
I am concerned about Black America for many reasons. Growing up I had a lot of African American males who were what my father called wasted potential. They were very intellagent but were not guided to do what was best in the long run. I also knew a lot of people who lived in my town who could have done so much with their life but are now in jail. As an English education student I look foward to helping others in any way that I can. Especially the Black Youth. I want to let them know that while they are working against the odds they can do ANYTHING they put their mind to. I am a prime example.
