This link:
http://thehill.com/campaign-2008/michelle-... is from Michelle Obama speaking about the importance of voting in this year's election. It also tells why African Americans are going to be the deciding factor in this year's election. If you have early voting in your state, then you should take advantage of this opportunity to vote early. The lines will be long and longer on election day, it might even rain or even snow depending on where you live, but the question becomes will you stand in line for over 2 hours or more in that type of weather to vote? Will you even go out in the elements to cast your vote? We already know that the Republicans are going to challenge potential voters in the African Americans communities. This will cause the lines to become longer; they (Republicans) hope that people will leave the lines and go home. The stakes are too high not to go out and stand in line and vote. Think about all the people who gave their lives for you to be able to vote. Think about your kid’s future. Think about how you can change America by standing up a voting. I ask each person to now get involved in helping Barack Obama become our next President, by visiting his site:
http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/sta... and volunteering in your community. You can phone bank (they have a script you just have to read), you can help get people to the polls and you can even monitor voting precincts. Trust me when I say, that each state needs your help in getting out the vote. We now need all hands on deck. So let's all get to work and get the results we truly need in America by electing Barack Obama President of the United States.
