I trust all that shall read this blog will be up lifted, blessed and positioned for a move of God! It saddens me when I see that most Christians today have placed the importance of "Things" over Gods will for there life. Never in history have we been in pursuit of "Stuff" than we have in this last day. You would think that we would ask ourselves a question. What is our sole purpose for being here on earth? Gods has instituted that we His people would offer something in this society else we cease to be alive in His eye sight. The word offering is derived from the word offer which means: 1. To offer something to the Lord such as prayer, money, time, hymns, songs of praise 2. to exhibit or demonstrate a particular quality according to the Encarta ® World English Dictionary . We have yet to offer people in this dying world help! Those of us that are ministers need to get out of the building especially if your not the Elder with Charge (Pastor) because you are needed in the world. There was a time that even the drunks on the street would pull a young kid to the side and say hey don't end up like me and don't allow yourself to drop out of school and so forth. But now the drunks don't even have a message and those of us that has been commissioned and set apart by God has yet to answer the call of responsibility to "offer" something to this world. We need not desire the platform so that we can be the next Mega Fest Speaker so that you can get a big house and a bad ride and have a wonderful website but rather we need to get in our communities and help "offer" something to your dying community which is a Mega Mess!!! God is not impressed with our abilities to preach, teach or sing but rather He is more concerned with you being His voice in the earth that will tell dying men, women, boys and girls that there is Life after Death. My friends when you find yourself waking up singing the song ' I woke up this morning with my mind stayed on Jesus" by which the author wasn't saying stay as we know it but rather when you get up you will say God who can I help despite the fact that I need help, who can I bless despite the fact that I need a blessing, who can I read to and encourage despite the fact that I need encouragement and in need of a word myself, who can I feed and cloth despite that I don't have a lot of money or no money at all to keep food in my house. My friend when we do that we show God that we are in pursuit of His will being about Our Fathers business and when God see that He then in turn takes care of us and bless us with the house, cars, money and land oh yeah! Just ask Bishop Noel Jones, Juanita Bynum, T. D. Jake because they didn't get there because they wanted the stuff but rather they was in pursuit of Gods will and when they looked up they found themselves in a Rich place. Jesus said no man has left or given up anything that His heavenly Father will not return 100 fold. So when you take care of Gods business He will take care of yours, so let go of your agenda and stop being a mimic of those you see on TBN and the Word Network and do what God has called you to do and when you clean up that Mega Mess in your community then maybe you will get an invite to Mega Fest because after all there is no need of celebrating when people are dying and going to hell not even a block from your church. I might be a young 30 years old but I know enough to be in Pursuit of Gods Will!
