While in Tampa, FL, Senator McCain stated that racism would virtually play no role in the upcoming election. Is he serious? How many of his or Governor Palin's rallies didn't contain racial slurs directed at Senator Obama? How many times did he say that those things were not acceptable? His rallies looked like a sea of salt with an occasional spattering of pepper or, dare I say, a KKK meeting.
His entire campaign has been filed with flip-flopping over issues, his lack of identity, distortions of the truth, attempted character assassination, his use of fear and blatant lies, led by him and his running mate, the corrupt governor of Alaska, but he claims that he is going to clean up Washington. He needs to get his own house in order before he does anything else.
He should have known and realized while talking to Rush Limbaugh that racism will play a role in this election.
He claims that he doesn't understand why people feel that his running mate has a polarizing effect. Let's face it, she is as dumb as a brick. If you blew in her ear, dust would come out of the other. If she misused her power as governor, imagine the damage she would do as president if something happened to McCain. McCain said of Palin that every time he was around her, he felt uplifted. Yeah, right. The only lifting he wanted to do was his foot in her butt because there wasn't enough room in her mouth.
He spoke of national security and protecting America, one of his perceived strong points. I don't know about you, but a former prisoner doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to security. Let's face it, he got caught. The only thing he knows about security is his own experience of being secured by somebody else. With regard to wisdom and judgment, I would take the JD that Obama has over McCain and the Naval Academy any day.
He is desperate and with five days before the election, he will be digging really deep in the dirt pile trying to convince voters that he isn't Bush the third.
