Wow, we have an African American elected as President of the United States of America. But what happened with Nelson Mandela and South Africa. It is more than the changing in the Race of the President of the United States that is required for a Positive Change to be affected in our community.
Barack Obama is not the messiah. Barack Obama is wake up call, that we need to stop making excuses and start the Nation Building we are known for. For the last 30+ years we have been pulled in two directions which have lead us to this major crisis.

It is very important that we take the necessary action to develop our own economic institutions to provide our people with the needed elements for survival. This has been a cry that has been raised time and time again. Yet it seems to fall on deaf ears.
