With our economy being in such turmoil right now and Wall St. not meeting Main St. Just saying that term that's been pumped in our heads by the media, the out going administration etc. makes me sick my stomach. So much blame to go around and no one wants to take the blame for this. Yet in a desperate attempt to try and once again fool the American people 700 billion is deemed to be the questionable answer.
But here again they get it wrong with where that money goes to. Who thought within the powers that be that the best place for that money was to go to Wall st, and carelessly ran corporations that are to blame for this. Simply put GREED... Instead of putting that money where the real problem lies with the American people. That's where the suffering lies in home mortgages, unemployment, disappearing retirements etc. Now there's a 2nd stimulus package in the works for the American people as another attempt to stimulate the economy. Which of course means more ear marks tied to the bailout of millions we'll never hear about or see. Many that will never benefit us in the end only cost us.
I think that when this stimulus check is released to the people we need to hold on to it, not spend it like they know we will do. We should hold to it and stand together as a people to show them that this is not the end all to this problem. It starts with accountability and a total restructuring of how we do business here and that when the people are successful America is successful.
Look it's time for radical change and it begins with us making our voices heard. By helping this new administration do what I believe they will do is implement real change. Also we need to let our elected officials know that they work for us and as their employer we demand an over the top job performance or suffer massive replacements... What's your view??
