Black & Integrated (1121 hits)

Over my life time thus far I’ve heard all things related to being black and also living in an integrated society. I’ve heard people say something as the following: YOU’RE TOO BLACK….NOT ANTI WHITE JUST PRO-BLACK…ETC. We are the most powerful people in the world and we’ve been given the most powerful position to be leaders in this world. Let us not get so rapped up in a multiplicity of identifications called Black and yet not carry out our responsibilities to the world’s community. Not every white person did you wrong nor is every black person your brother/sister in principle yet suppose to be.

As we teach our children and encourage them in the area of Blackness and being proud of themselves along with encouraging each other, let us not forget how we can have a positive influence in the world’s community.

While “being in the world but not of the world” let us not forget that we have a responsibility to contribute to the world that we live in.

We were the great inventors and creators and in actuality we still are, it’s just that we haven’t created much of late.

Let us go back to who we were so that we can be who we are and eventually get to where we’re going.

Blessings to you in this great community of Blackness & Reality.

Greetings Dr. West,

I would like to know myself, the answer to the question that Mr. Weston asked.

How are Black Americans who are descendents of slaves, the most powerful people in the world today?

What say you?

It would be nice to understand what they mean by saying one is too black. Do they have the moral right to determine what color one should have. I am sure they had no control over the one they got. It is all a question of melanin and none of us had any control over how much we got.
