You already know that Jesus was born on Dec. 25th of a virgin, but did you also know that on this same date, and from a virgin, were born ...
Atys, from the virgin Nana?
Krishna, from the virgin Devaki?
Horus, from the virgin Isis, in a manger inside a cave?
Also Mithras in a cave, was visited by pastors that brought him gifts?
Also Zoroaster or Zarathushtra?
All of whom were before Jesus. It's called "The Messiah Myth Returns".
Mithras had 12 disciples; he sacrificed for the peace of the world; he was buried and resurrected after 3 days; its sacred day was Sunday; his religion had a eucharist or dinner in which it said: "ANYONE WHO DOES NOT EAT MY BODY OR DRINK MY BLOOD, WILL NOT BE SAVED".
Atys died for the salvation of humanity, crucified on a tree, went to the underworld and resurrected after 3 days.
Buddha taught in the temple when he was 12, he walked on water and also gave food to 500 families. It is also believed that JC -- during the missing 18 years -- travelled a trade route that would have taken him through Jordan into China and there may have learned Buddhism; which he brought back teaching the "new" gospel of forgiveness and kindness.
Horus made miracles, excorcised demons, and walked over water; he was crucified between 2 thieves and resurrected after 3 days. He had also 12 disciples.
Krishna was son of a carpenter, his birth was announced by a star in the east and some pastors gave him gifts; he had 12 disciples, he was identified with the lamb; made miracles he helped lepers, the blind and deaf; died for the salvation of humanity and the sun was darkened after his death; resurrected and ascended to heaven and was the second person of a trinity.
Zoroaster was baptized with holy water, fire and wind; tempted in the desert by the devil; expelled demons and gave sight to a blind man.
All of these BEFORE JESUS -- historical facts! Be not afraid to research them. Unlike blind faith, FACTS are not afraid of verification.
Coincidence? No! The Christian Jesus is a mix of older myths and religions -- there is nothing original about Christianity.
Please, before believing something, ask why? Question everything! Don't believe just b/c grandma told you to.
