Protection of 2nd Ammendment-Gun rights--Barack Obama (773 hits)

Millions of hunters own and use guns each year.Millions more participate in a variety of shooting sports,such as sporting clays, skeet,target, and trap shooting.

Obama obviously as a Constitutional Professor respects the individual right that this Ammendment creates. The right to bear arms.

As President he will protect the rights of hunters and other law-abiding Americans to purchase, own, transport, and use guns for the purposes of hunting and target sports.

He also believes this right is subject to reasonable and commonsense regulation that can hlep us keep guns off the streets and away from criminals and terrorists, such as closing the gun-show loop hole and repealing the Tiahrt Ammendment to give police officers the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade.

Hey Corey--the country has laws, either you follow them or you don't. You got a rap sheet? you committed crimes and now you want the same rights that other people who don't have a crimianl record do? really?--I say do what you do--lots of criminals have guns, Can't you tell ??? 20 cops down in Philly--in 2008! The only story I know of where a brother was "protecting " his family..unfortunately he didn't follow the law in that -he shot the perp outside of his home, should have dragged him INSIDE right?

And such a decent, hardworking man--he's in jail npow-- the story was in Long Island, New York in the summer. As for me the guns I use ? are in the grey matter in my head..but so far from what I am reading here, hmmh -hmm I don't want folks with a certain mentality around me and my family..anyway, you are all in sync with the KKK. cool. Why not lobby together and everybody get a gun.."they shootin' ha !I made ya look" Nas-
