Obamamania! (429 hits)

Blacks, other minorities and the left of this country are placing too much upon the shoulders of Obama. Well he made it so with all those huge crowds telling them how he would bring sweeping change. There will be no sweeping changes even my 12 year son knows that what Obama was campaigning with was not possible. There are forces of evil in this country who run the entire world and there can be no compromise with them. Obama like Kennedy and Lincoln thinking he can slowly dismantle the forces of darkness and bring about a hand holding society. When the Bible and every prophetic book or saying about the times we live in contradict his words. Reasoning and logic goes against believing any of it and what he's selling is just pure snake oil. Instead of hope in a bottle it's hope in a ballot. My biggest fear is that people will soon become explosively angry with him and the system. And soon the forces of good and evil will clash in this country causing a civil war.

It's funny how hypocritical his presence has been compared to a change in America. When one commentator of a major news organization said Obama has defied all odds having come from the slaves to be the President of the United States. Everyone of them Obama lovers knows that this isn't true that Obama isn't the same bloodline as the slaves with his father being from Kenya and his mother being a white Irish descendant. This is the type of bullsh!t that I'm talking about people who want to believe a lie so much that they are willing to close their eyes to the truth and make believe a fairytale. The same kind of people will explode violently when they are confronted with the truth that the dream is all a ****ing lie. Americans really need to stop relying entirely upon politicians and clean up their own sh!t house by house and block by block. But they won't do it because they would rather be surfing the internet, playing video games and living selfishly. This is the only country on the face of the Earth with the resources and the leadership position from which citizens can rightly assemble for the common good of humanity and the American people are too busy to do it.

we seem to think that politicians will always bail us out. we all need to create our own small businesses or work with existing business owners. there are many home based businesses with a low start up cost that are debt free and privately held, so they're not depended upon the stock market. we all need to do some of our own research and start creating income. has anyone become financially independent from a job? if so, let me know.

Not one of you addressed any of the issues I bought up. This is part of the problem we are cheerleaders for politicians who only hoot and hollar codes words and fancy sayings. But feel good notions that tingle your belly will not solve the many problems facing America or Black America. Candy coat it all you want but a big deal has been made out of Barrack Obama and soon there will be consequences for the lies told.

You're still Cheerleading. Lol. Barrack Obama said that Washington was corrupt and that it needed fixing yet he went out and hired all the old same gang that is apart of the corruption. Barrack Obama said he would withdraw troops from Iraq and end the war and he's put forth plans to keep troops in Iraq another 2 years. Barrack Obama said that would fix the problems on mainstreet yet he pushed the bailout for the banks with no oversight. These are campaign promises of Barrack Obama along with a host of others that the way he's handled his transition it appears he will never fulfill. But still though this isn't what my post is all about no way. You guys just jump to the conclusion that I was being too critical of your man. Instead I was pointing out the aura of make believe that has been placed around Obama not Obama himself. I know he's just a politician and said what needed to be said to get elected. This I fully understand which is why this makes him no different than any other politician in Washington. Besides Obama's entire career as an Illinois senate shows nothing that he changed that was dramatical to the change he campaigned on. There's no evidence to suggest he would be any different than Clinton was since he hired most of Clinton's follower's to his administration. He hired Republicans and a few no good rotten people too but truth be told Bill Clinton was bad for Black Americans. And if Obama is adopting Clinton's politics then he results will be no different. Clinton was good for the economy but not long after he left office the results of his trades policies hurt America. I'm critically challenging others to think about the aura that is being casted around Barrack Obama and not here to cheer lead because he's black.

Mr. Mozell. Sir if I may if people didnt know what they were capable of before Barrack Obama did they haven't been taking any pride in themselves. Blacks have always been capable of winning in debates, making great speeches and coming with winning strategies. This victory of Barrack's has more to do with the times we are in than Barrack himself. Whites have not changed but Barrack made an appeal towards change and he made change his main tune. He made it appear that he's educated of the elite and that his immigrant roots makes him more fit for dreaming. This appealed to alot of whites because in actuality whites are majority immigrants too. Lol. There's always been this arrogance that immigrants were better than the natives and the slaves (That's us). The myth is that this country was undeveloped and the people were incapable of building civilization. This myth has fortified a propaganda that has been utilized in Barracks under ling suggestive speech. It's used by whites all time whom tout their European roots saying their parents came here with nothing and made something of themselves. Not at all do they acknowledge their white privilege has have had played a major part of their success and the oppression of Natives and former slaves. Matter of fact all immigrants are extorted privileges denied to natives and former slaves as is Barrack Obama in winning the nomination and having whites 67% whom have negative views of former slaves vote overwhelmingly for him.

Well we all have heroes. My heroes are people I know personally. I don't make heroes out of people whom I don't know personally. The folly is such is that they may not be doing the things they say and do for the reasons you ascribe to them. Accept people as they are and not as you want them to be. The same mistake is being made with Barrack Obama as was made will Bill Clinton. Blacks gave him untold loyalty for simply haven't done anything but reminded of something or someone dear to them. The right of this country made the same big deal of George Bush and many still think he's some kind of great legend. But each of us is a legend in our own minds.

Poetry? That's what you came to debate with? You're a lover of words and nothing more. Empty and void of reasoning. You clinch hope because you're too afraid to learn and grow for that takes guts. Happy new year! May your resolution be growth and spirit.
