Marcus, God had nothing to do with this. It is amazing to me that people always want to fault the almighty for everything that goes wrong in life as if the devil does not exist. The photos that are circulating are also photoshoped and not legitimate.

This whole situation is very sad on all fronts and shows that no one is immune to domestic violence. People forget that regardless to someone's celebrity they are still human beings. It does not matter to me what started the argument, the fact that violence became a part of it is the main issue. People are making statements that she started it, others claiming he was pissed about some unfounded evidence of an STD, some claim that she had hit him on numerous occasions with out him ever hitting her back.

I pray for both of them and hope they get much needed counseling, anger management and conflict resolution help. Sad, very very sad and what is worst is that this is not an isolated situation. Millions of women and even men are abused everyday, many have even died at the hands of their attackers. Just sad and anyone that attempts to make light of this needs some help themselves.

I agree and thank you for your comment. We need to keep it real about domestic violence!

Brother Marcus!
Its funny how quick we are to suggest that God has nothing to do with it. I disagree completely. God is definately in charge of all affairs in this day and time either through His active will or permissive will. Through my studies I have learned that he uses the weaknesses as well as the strengths of those in the so called limelight to highlight huge problems that are going on among the masses of those who are not in the so called limelight. Never count God out because you can't perceive His mighty will being worked.

Brother Marcus!
I don't count him out. I do realize that he will allow somethings to happen in order for us to see the writing on the wall, but one cannot count out the handy work of the devil's handy work either. I think it is sad on both ends of the spectrum and under no circumstances do I condone what he is accused of doing. I am a survior of many things, trust and believe that. Like I said on another person's blog about this issue, we are taught alot of things in life, but anger management and conflict resolution are not one of them, be it in the home, school or both.

I agree with you sis. I'm just saying that the devil can exercise no power on his own. The devil doesn't have any more power than Almighty God allows him to exercise. And God will allow the devil to beat the hell out of us to make us more pliant to His will for our lives. That's what I believe is going on right now in the world!

Brother Marcus!
Wow, it is interesting how quick God came into situation. Praise God the young lady was not killed! Praise God her injuries will (hopefully) not permanently damage her physical beauty are supports out there to help her emotionally! Praise God young man can access support now! Praise God there were no children in the relationship to become emotionally scarred or even physically harmed! Praise Him for giving us the script for righteous living! Praise Him for clearly allowing this young lady to see this young man was NOT the chosen one! Praise God for the spirit of forgivenness that we rejoice in knowing a life was saved to give God all the glory!

Domestic violence is not an issue to be contained in anybody's religous box. It is a crme and it hurts and it kills! What Would Jesus Do if He were the young man, choose to way. What Would Jesus Do if He were in the other shoe, call for 911 and fight for your life until help arrives or run for cover!

Women do not need to be sacrificial lambs for the work of evil to send a message. Both individuals can grow and learn about anger management and it is sad that many young girls in that age range think it is cute to be able to initiate abuse and even succomb to it. Our job is to pray for their wisdom and safety.

For an action of being physically attacked, the reaction can be to walk or run or hide until helps arrives. I learned how to diffuse an angry husband by walking on eggshells silently until even that made him angry. God delivered me out of that relationship! So, Praise Him again for NOT allowing my life to be taken and I pray that all victims of domestic abuse be saved and delivered.

I also pray for the young lady sending the text message selling herself so very cheap, for lack of a better way of making my point.

Whatever one can do to prevent domestic violence, one must do. Example by the adults is something that can't be changed, but one does not have to act like the bad examples of one's families or the advice of one's friends. Sad. Horrible for the young lady. Devastating for the young man. Pray for the young lady as she will be traumatized by this. Pray for the young man, because he does nt need to react like this to whatever triggers evr again inhis life. His image as a clean cut young man has been damaged beyond repair.

Brother Marcus!
This is why I am so glad I am a N. D. Buddhist so that I can just accept the humand being as who and what they are and that I can accept science at the same time...for example...FOR EVERY ACTION THERE IS A REACTION and not try to fine someone / something to assign BLAME / praise ,as it is too stressful and a major waste of energy.
