Statistics all indicate a batterer is never a one trick pony. The males have moved to protect Chris Brown. No one has spoken of counseling.. do you think he will hit her again, if they reunite?

No doubt. But all kinds of rumors are running around that circle, that she dropped charges because she provoked it and it was self-defense on Chris' part... I'd never chance a situation such as that one, where abuse is involved... When my ex-fiance gave me a welt on my lip, he actually smacked me back into reality and I left him, never to turn back again... maybe Chris didn't slap her hard enough... (j/k) hopefully it won't escalate, but if it happened once, it can definitely happen again... whether she provokes it or not...

One of the classic signs of female abuse is their full support of their abuser to continue; usually under the excuse of Love, etc
Say for example if men like Chris were able to abuse, dominate a strong female do you think a man like this would still pick out the WEAK woman? Or I will put it another way. I have never seen a Black man give to the White woman the RESPECT that a Black woman with self-esteemdemands if they want to remain in their lives, period!!!!! And, I have never seen a White man not treat his Black woman as the Goddess she is.
Even back in slavery, the Black mistress was given her own home by the White master. The home of the master's was given, left to the oldest White son, not the wife / mistress! Do you get my point about a STRONG Black woman with self-esteem will not live as if they deserved abuse as a way of life...in public or private...The Chris' can not do any more to the Rihanna's of the world than they give them permission to do to them more than ONCE!!!!
No one needs 'counseling' on the first law of nature, survival, self protection and not at your own expense is automatic, so please stop it!!!!!

Maryanne thank you for being such a role model of what Black leadership is all about. I am so glad that you are a perfect example that the marches for Civil Rights must live on with you and your generation now leading the way for our next generation of proud African-American. You show that those who are not willing to be treated as "less than' in any :way, form or fashion for unconditional love or for fame and forturne are still out there on those front lines!!!! You are exibiting the very things that President Obama is asking for to help watch his back.
Again thank you Maryanne ,and continue to demand the respect you deserve as a WAY OF LIFE(smile)

Jeremy What I was talking about was about the LEGAL system back then.I also know that the White woman could not say any thing if she could have because she was more comfortable with his Black mistriss that with a White one. I hope I do not shock you but this still goes on.....You are telling me what someone told you about what I said, "I" have never seen. do you in any way see that their is a difference in the two.
About the mistress getting the home. When you get a degree in Black history as I do then like me you can talk about what was in those many, many books that were written by the slaves themselves.O.K?(smile)
And married slaves did not live on the same plantations. Little instinctive things like you hit my mom, my wife, my chhild, etc. You see those White versions of BLACK IN AMERICA are false....and the truth is what had so many college students backing President Obama(smile)
