Getting tired of the racism? Mr. Ward Connerly (Black Republican lip-flopper) says black people have a lot of nerve demanding an apology and then not accepting it when it is given. Referrring to The New York Post.

Subject: Racism still exists obviously

Let us not be lulled into a sense of complacency, due to the recent political success of President Obama.

Racism still exists in this country. Like all things, nothing is perfect on this planet, in this world.

We have an obligation to be active on issues that simply cannot be ignored.

Along these lines we should all actively spread the word of how Barnes and Noble apparently feels about black people or at least our President.

Please forward this to as many people you think should be aware of this and would be offended by this.

Boycotting Barnes and Noble will show the economic effect of people who will not tolerate racism.

Barnes and Noble had this as their store front display in Coral Gables FL in the Miracle Mile Mall. I am totally disgusted and I think it is important that we all find a different place to buy our books. Obviously this is a place of extreme ignorance. How far have we really come? God bless.

Well- write a poem, regarding this continued disrespect, send it to B& N CORPORATE headquarters, send copies to all the local and not local mainstream and black newspapers (of your poem.) Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Relieves the anger, and gets you publicity, good solid publicity.

It is too bad that Michael Steele has seen where Ward Connerly is today as the direct results from Connerly only saying exactly what the White Republicans knew they did not DARE to say and keep their jobs and positions in the Conservative party here in the state of California.And, yet Steele has fallen for the same false words and promises (on a national status)that got Connerly not only without a place in the Republican party but without a place in his own race!Oh, Connerly's skin is still Black but he has no social or trust standings in the Black community, personally or politically.He can not even sell his products at our state fair so does this tell you any thing of his worth????!!!?

Now, Marta what was this you were saying about where 'COMPLACENCY' gets a person of color? This includes not knowing the powers of a BOYCOTT, because most of us have no knowledge of the economic powers that we the people of color have in this country.

Lets boycott and then boycott the media for discrimination, because if we were out there rioting they would be showing it 24-7!!!!!!

Marta, please continue to keep us informed as I have not heard about this at all until you posted it.

Mozell, get on the phone and call the press ane tell them what time that you will be there with your picket sign. have your book in your hand and talk about how you have books on the shelves in B&N. Go, go, go. I am as serious as a heart attack. get thei free publicity and your say at the same time. Thell them about a spicific poem of yours that speaks about this very thing. GO or I will never forgive you.

Now get to work blogging to other Black authors to do this same thing.
