I was doing my usual (reading) and surfing, when I came across an incredible site for/ of Black beauty. It really is amazing that we black women have such a varied , different and prismatic appearance.
Somebody has to be lying, if they say black women are any less beautiful than any other "un-colored "woman. We must come in two thousand shades, our hair type in about one thousand different textures, our lips and eyes and the combination thereof, is nothing short of a miracle. If am not mistaken no other race of women can make that claim. If they can please correct me:-)
Having said that, then all Black women are to be held in esteem whether they come from another country or not. If we don't raise the bar on our own, we can't expect
others to respect us and our beauty. I refer here to our sister, who some women were resentful of because she was a top blogger but not from this country. We support and loved her for the time she was here, I read all her blogs and I knew she wanted to not be here because she sensed the same resentment as our other former sister, A Friend Katherine not only sensed but was attacked verbally.
We are all beautiful, we just have different personalities and experiences, as we should, after all we are not clones of one another, or how else would you explain the two thousand varied and intriguing skin shades?
Let's Love our jet black ebony hued lovelies as well as our vanilla, green eyed ones because we ALL ARE A REFLECTION OF OURSELVES!!!
Yasmin Warsame is the beauty in the picture.
