I'm sure by now you've heard the news: the mother & daughter who went missing claiming to be kidnapped by three Black guys have turned up at Disney World in Florida. Ordinarily, I wouldn't go there and just understand that if her intent is to convince someone, she had to give SOME type of description. But as I was reading comments from AOL, someone made a comment that struck a nerve and made me open my eyes: how many Black men have spent years -- or decades -- in prison b/c of this same BS?
What do we have to do in this country to be seen as non-criminals and decent people?
