THE POWER OF THE STORM HIT MEMPHIS
June 12, 2009
Memphis, TN
A power rage of storms surrounded Memphis and surrounding areas in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Bartlett. Strong intense winds toppled trees, downed power lines and left approximately 128,000 Memphians without power and electricity. Everything was blowing in the air waves! The abrupt storm also caused heavy rains and dangerous driving conditions. Sirens sounded loudly as Memphian residents scrammbled to find shelter from the power of the storms. Memphis Light, Gas and Water utility crews worked through the night to help restore power to many residents, however it's estimated that some residents may have to wait up to a week before power is restored. Reports indicates that roofs were taken off, and a report of an housefire. Trees fell damages property and cars. There was roaring thunders and sounds of waving winds. No fatalities have been reported at the time of this report.
"Are you alright MIISRAEL?"
"I'm just fine, my power's out now, but no damages to anything, only a few branches fell in my yard." The powerful storm was fierce, and when you see winds wave like that it's truly an awesome sight! I know God is a God of all power.. He's the Power of the Storm!
Guess what?
I could of flown that kite, and worn that scarf....Still I held on to the power in prayer!
