GAME OVER: Hip Hop Fades to Black – set in the year 2025, it chronicles the end of a movement born in the hardscrabble hoods of the Bronx during the mid-70s, which grew into a worldwide musical and financial phenomenon. As its popularity rose, the urban rhythm and rhyme became the victim of rampant exploitation by corporate entities that placed an emphasis on the profit margin at the expense of artistic intelligence and personal dignity.
