Hi MIISRAEL!
Good to see you today! Fill in a seat, you've come to read with Hometown.
So sit and read. I've brought a few stories from Memphis having to do with filling in seats...Shall we begin?
Yes, let's do read, by all means what do you have?
Here's a chair that's caused a lot of controversy in Memphis this year and finally the new Mayor's seat will be filled in
WALK ACROSS THE STREET
AND TAKE YOUR NEW SEAT!

At noon, on October 26, 2009 A.C. Wharton took to the seat of Memphis newly elected Mayor. Wharton won by a landslide victory on October 16, 2009 with approximately 60% voting for him. A ceremony finalized im taking that seat, along with his newly selected cabinet. He keeping tune with his campaign promise to make Memphis better and his slang of "One Memphis".
Now that one Memphis could be a clue that Memphis is considering consolidating the two governments into one. At least that's what it may be giving lead way to. The Memphis and Shelby County Governments are looking at ways in the near future to make it all one. These talks of consolidating will resume shortly.

Sure, I'm still "Yo Southern Belle" I'm telling a story of a seat that left it's about a week or two ago, the seat left behind is not yet a closed door.

ELBERT JEFFERSON RESIGNED ON ELECTION DAY LEAVING HIS SEAT TO BE
FILLED BY FORMER MLGW PRESIDENT
SHOCKED MEMPHIANS CAN'T BELIEVE IT!
Memphis, TN 10.26.2009
The next day following the Mayor's election, Elbert Jefferson resigned his position as the City Attorney. Jefferson is being investigated for mishandling funds during Former Mayor Willie Herenton's term, and continued to serve in the position, pending his investigations. The next day after Wharton won as mayor, he sent in his resignation letter. Wharton, could not accept the letter at the time, because he had not yet took office, thus the letter fell into the hands of then ProTem Mayor, Myron Lowery. Now his seat today will be filled by former Memphis Light, Gas and Water President whom was recently rewarded a huge settlement involving paying his legal fees in a case of investigations where MLGW President was considered not guilty in mishandled favoritism to certain pretigious business people who continued the use of their electric services without paying. Many Memphians are totally shocked to see him back in a seat of the city's government, but he was hired for the seat anyway! He is selected by the Memphis City Government to fill the seat, even with the lawsuit to pay his legal fees has been highly costly to the city government. As for Elbert Jefferson, his seat will be at the court house for a while at least until his investigation comes to a closure.

THERE'S A MOVIE BEING FILMED IN MEMPHIS AND
QUIET ON THE SET IS THE PLEADER!
THE FILM STARS VETERAN ACTOR LOUIS GOSSET, JR.
It's MEMPHIS HOLLYWOOD! THE MOVIE: THE GRACE CARD ....Memphis has been the filming place of several movies, and now a new movie is brought to town. This movie sets insight on a moral story appears with famed star, and special veteran actor, Louis Gossett, Jr. It's Gossett's first time ever filming in the Bluff City of Memphis, and he seems all enthuastic about taking on the project. Gossett appeared on the WREG LIVE at 9 Show and commented on his interest in making the film. The film's storyline is about a Black Minister who is aided by the help of a White Cop. Will the racial line divide the Word and the Law! Filming took place on the movie earlier this month. Gossett is excited about making the movie which stems to enclose racial motives in black communities involving white officers.

THE STAGE, OR THE SEAT?
Well, it's either one or the other. We are either players in roles, or we sit and view it from the seat. Have you ever noticed though, how some people really achieve things large and big and others just sit in the seat, never even making it out to do what they are destined to have or having a will to do. There's a large stage to enchance yourself upon. It's not about obtaining all wealth, power, and not even fame. It's a stage set to give you a most rewarding life.
There's a song that says "The whole world is a stage, and everybody plays a part." What's your part. There's so much good work to do, yet just consentrating only on yourself can inhibit you from doing any good works. Too many are just filling the seat and not working on anything good.
Just think about it...which kind of life are you doing. Are you are worker for others, or do you just fill in a seat and watch. I'm not trying to be funny, but just making it known, put yourself to making a difference in your own life, by helping others who need your help. The stage is opened. Are you seated just watching, or are you up there...filling the stage's seat! I know who's sitting in the throne's seat and he's in control of the whole stage! The Lord sits high...and looks low...
