Are we all in Crisis Together? (265 hits)

It is very interesting to note that no matter where the Black individual was born or where he/she lives - we all have one thing in common. We are all identified as less than desirable in the minds of those who hate us. This is the case all over the world - not just the Western world.

What can we do about it? We can choose to still respect ourselves, ignore the ignominy and the spite they spit out at us and still live very beautiful and fulfilling lives. As well we dont need to be on the defensive as they would like us to be. Being always on the defensive keep us from using scant energy to accomplish the real things that matter in life. If you notice, when the beasts of the forests are defending territory, they have no more time then to accomplish anything else.

Let us move away from emotional territorial defense and instead focus on the good that we can accomplish. Tell yourself that you are a trillion times better than all those who try to hurt you and you will be amazed at how easy it will become to get over the slights and the hurts and the fear you feel. Whenever you are in a bad situation because others treat you with irrelevance, keep telling yourself how better than they you are. Repeat it a thousand times if you must. Eventually your subconscious mind will get the point and you will come off much better for the experience.

I have written a book that will help though you must first read through the tough parts. You can find it at www.albertjamesonline.com www.albertjamesonline.ca. The book is titled Blacks and the Politics of Hate. I wrote it because a former employee of mine asked me one evening when I was driving him home - Why Blacks were hated? I tried explaining that initially it was not our fault but that in some cases we may not be as civilly and as progressively mobile as we ought to have been.

I realized then that either way the answer to his question would open a can of worms. Not everyone on the other side believe that they should take responsibility for what they did to us, and not everyone of us believe that we should take responsibility for our own actions and make changes necessary to our own well-being.

The book looks at and seek answers to many of the questions that a lot of us ask ourselves. I am obviously black and a lot of discussion that I have with Blacks from all over the world seem to harp on the same thing. They all think that there is a problem somewhere even without me soliciting their opinion. Do we have a problem? Why not read the book and find out? The answers might surprise you.

Hello Irma,

Self-worth is a personal matter. If you dont have any issues relative to self-worth then the instruction is obviously not for you. Please understand, however that there are many people who do or who did at some point in their lives. Sometimes others made them feel less than they would like and in some cases they have to still live with the stress of feeling that way.

Hello Mr. Albert,

Why did you delete my comment about your book, personality and intentions?

By deleting my comment indicates that you agree with my assessment of you and you would rather that know no one else read my comment. If you had any mental strength, you would have answered my comment showing that item wrong about you.

You are a sap of a man.

Tell me what you think.

My friend and brother we are all entitled to our opinions. I respect yours as you are fully entitled to them though I may disagree.

Hello Harry, getting a piece of real estate which we can call our own as you propose is not as easily attainable as one would imagine. If I understand you correctly you are seeking autonomy which would mean that you seek a nation which can subsist on its own. We would have to effect an economy which would provide jobs for citizens, draw up a constitution, laws, an army and all else that it would take to run a nation. Where would we get the wherewithal to begin. And where would we start? Who would take responsibility for such a venture and when would you want that to begin? And how long do you think it would take for functionality and a smooth operation? Just curious. But seriously please answer those questions.

Hello Irma, I am not quite sure I understand what you mean when you said that I wrote ALL. You should notice my qualifier "by those who hate us" Those who do are not making any distinctions. Thanks for your comments.

Hello James,

Let me first say that I appreciate your push back rather than deleting my comments. It indicates that you are using your intelligence, which is something greatly needed rather than your emotions in dealing with me.

Yes, I am advocating and promoting autonomy, you are correct. Of course, we would have to have an economy. Now, let me pause for a moment just to credit your intelligence to say that. Most American Blacks confuses and economy with entrepreneurship. For instance, Black Americans thinks Mr. Farrakhan and NOI have an economy. However, only countries have economies, while individuals and organizations have businesses.

Since Black Americans are the people, that desires sovereignty then we would be the people responsible for such a venture, am I right.

Now, as far as when it would begin, is when we become serious that we want it and it would happen. God has anointed me with the concept of sovereignty as our only permanent solution ever to be a real people in this world. Our sovereignty is going to happen.

Where would we get the wherewithal; God, Black Americans and I are the wherewithal once we become serious about wanting to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Did not the Hebrew people thought it was impossible to leave Egypt that it took Moses a little over 20 years dealing with his people and once their desire was there to come out of bondage and slavery the Exodus happened. It happened because Moses was God’s anointed one. Not any Hebrew could have affected the Exodus except Moses. Understand where I am coming from?

I did not answer all your questions but if you want me to answer those that I did not I will.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Harry,

Thank you for your reply. I am sorry if initially I did not treat you with the respect that you deserve instead of deleting your first comment. I am new at blogging and because I have written a very controversial book I am somewhat sensitive to the criticism that I am told the book will generate. As a result I was in a defensive mode.

You have addressed essentially what I was aiming at in the sense that you have presented an idea and design that you seem dedicated to. I do not say that I presently share the vision because the timing might be off. In short I believe that it would take more than a revolution to achieve what you want. I really dont think we should at this point abandon the concept of leaving things where they are at the moment because doing otherwise in my opinion would be a step backward. I do like the idea of relating to everyone and learning to accept our differences where such exists and where it can work.

I will admit that I am a person who shun confrontation as I believe that if I am confrontational I will likely make more enemies that friends. I prefer friends because it makes for peace and harmony, and with that comes security.

I do hope you had a good and productive day today and that all is well with you. I wish you all the best in life and above all GOD'S richest blessings always.

Let us continue the dialogue if you wish. I may not always be able to respond promptly, but I will always get back to you. Take care for now.

Hello Irma,

Hope all is well with you and that you will have a very good day today. As you probably know - peace is better than war, so it is good to have a dialogue. As I said I am not one for confrontation as that gets us no where. Imagine the kind of world we would have if we all tried to get along. However we know that such would not be too good for business in some quarters for whom war is better.

It is good that you like to read and thank you for your support to me being an author. With this book it was not easy. It took almost 6 years of hard work and research. I do hope you will get a copy of it as it is well worth the reading. When I was younger and even now it is/was difficult to go to bed without a book or before having read something, so I appreciate and understand your craving for reading. Should you decide to get a copy, let me know and I will tell you how to do so.

I wish for you a very good day today and may everything you do go well for you. Greet the sisters and brothers you come across for me today and wish them success and happiness. GOD bless.

This is very interesting...but, do you have any books for those who are so full of self-worth that they do not need some one to give them self-esteem?!?

I gathered that you were relating to the INDIVIDUAL in the first place...(smile)
