Omega Psi Phi Fraternity 
On October 28, 1914, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Was Incorporated Under The Laws Of The District Of Columbia.
The Fraternal Organization Was Initially Founded On November 17, 1911, At Howard University In Washington, DC, By Three Undergraduate Students And Their Faculty Advisor. Omega Psi Phi Is The First Black National Fraternal Organization To Be Founded At A Historically Black College.
The Undergraduate Founders Of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Were Howard University Juniors Bishop Edgar Amos Love, Dr. Oscar James Cooper And Professor Frank Coleman. The Faculty Advisor Was Dr. Ernest Everett Just.
Founded On The Principles Of "Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance And Uplift," Omega Psi Phi, Today, Boasts More Than 100,000 Members.
Well-Known Members Include: Dr. Carter G. Woodson, Langston Hughes, Ronald McNair, Bill Cosby, Jesse Jackson, Michael Jordan, Earl Graves, Douglas Wilder, Steve Harvey, Roy Wilkins, Guion Bluford, Vince Carter, David Satcher, And Dr. Percy Julian.

I remember the first time I saw the Omegas on campus in their Purple & Gold outfits. It was quite and experience that I can never forget especially since it was my first encounter with Black greek organizations. Thanks for the blog!
