Malcolm X in my opinion and the great Henry Clark was the greatest Black American Leader to ever walk this continent. Marcus Garvey whom also believed in an independant Black American nation one of the greatest along with Booker T. whom laid the foundations for civilizations with his brick furnaces. What makes Malcolm X so special is his study of Maoist philosphy. To those not familiar with Mao Tse Tung he was a poor farmer from the South of China and ethnic Han. Mao built China up from the ruins of the 8 nation attack and the puppet China Republic that now is Taiwain. Mao did so village by village and also by a pamphlets. Malcolm X did the same thing by taking the Nation of Islam teachings to Black Amerians all over America even in the deep Jim Crow South. The Nation prior to Malcolm X was a old people social group with a few middle age follwers. Yet it was Malcolm X whom following Mao's path built the N.O.I into a nation within a nation in less than 10 years!
The problem with Malcolm X is he was betrayed by the same curse that most Black leaders whether African or African American that is anti-social forces within our community killed him. Malcolm was a believer that greatness was possible and was relentless in pursuing it. This is the most admirable quality of Malcolm X that he was so discipline, focused and possessed a resolve that was supernatural.
The history of Malcolm X's family starts with his father Earl Little a devout christian and yet a follower of Marcus Garvey's teachings. Mr. Little tried to educate and inspire young blacks and had many by his wife including Malcolm. Malcolm speaks in his autobiography of how his childhood was spent in awe of his big, black and strong father. As we know Mr. Little's life was cut short by the dreaded and despised KKK when he was thrown under a train. This event lead also to the racist state of Michigan and KKK members employed by it to take away the children now left alone to Mrs. Little. Malcolm X was sent to a border home and eventually bounced around with relatives he would never see most of his brothers and sisters again in one place. This was the destruction of a strong African American family and how when you see most Black families down on their luck you can bet some where in their history their ancestors were fighters.
The most important part of Malcolm's betrayal and final end comes at the hands of the Nation of Islam. Many of them now and then would like to blame the F.B.I but even the F.B.I saw the opportunity to allow them the Nation to kill Malcolm X themselves and not get involved accept for assisting with looking the other way.
But what prompted the Nation to kill Malcolm X? I believe it wasn't the Nation meaning the innocent people whom loved the Nation and wanted to do good. But it was the corrupt anti-social elements mostly criminals whom were robbing the Nation of millions of dollars while Elijah Muhammad indulged in s*xual relations with teenage girls. Malcolm was the only force the corrupters couldn't control because he had too much passion for what he was doing, in other words Malcolm couldn't and wouldn't be bought and thus unapproachable to the corrupters whom only choice left was to disgrace him or kill him.
The crucial mistake I believe Malcolm X made was not trusting his wife Betty Shabbazz whom warned him of the other ministers backtalk of him, you know how women are always aware of rumor and gossip. Malcolm became angry with her because at the time he didn't want to deal with division amongst the Nation and felt it was counterproductive. But when Wallace Deen Muhammad the son of Elijah Muhammad whom Malcolm looked up to informed Malcolm X the rumors were true that corrupters were embellishing millions of the Nation's money and their Leader Wallace's father was too engaged with his indugles to clamp down on the corrupters. And sister Clara Muhammad the wife of Elijah was dying of heart break while her husband was hurting her heart by openly having these adulterous affairs with four young women. Can you imagine her pain? And this blackwoman's embarrassment as the man see stood by betrayed her for his lusts and claimed divinity in his weakness?
Malcolm didn't know what to do because he still loved and respected Elijah Muhammad and wanted to stay loyal but he needed to act. Here's his mistake he returned to New York where he consulted in Minister Farrakhan and another brother whom later come to find out was a F.B.I agent. These two reported him to the headquarters creating a riff between Malcolm and Elijah thus making Louis Farrakhan appear loyal to Elijah while Malcolm unloyal. This is the same Louis Farrakhan whom Malcolm shared some much of his philosophy and speaking techniques with. And their children were set to marriage which was arranged at their births. The same Louis Farrakhan whom called for the death of his fomer friend in the same newspaper that Malcolm created once Malcolm had become effectively ostracized by the lies and rumors these jealous corrupters created.
In conclusion, nobody is more responsible for the death of Malcolm X than the anti-social forces and criminal elements whom later masked themselves under the guise of standing up for their teacher Elijah Muhammand and stopping a hypocrite. For those whom say Malcolm was a traitor to what? Our main stuggle is the liberation and advancement of our people not to some corrupt cult that the Nation of Islam became. In my opinion Malcolm was a a hero and he was in the true eyes of Wallace Deen Muhammad the heir Elijah Muhammad choose and so many more honorable men such the great Henry Clark.
