Ali-Forman

On October, 30, 1974, 50 Million People Watched As Muhammad Ali Regained
The Heavyweight Boxing Title From Then Champion, George Foreman.

Held In Kinshasa, Zaire, The "Rumble In The Jungle," As It Was Known, Was The First Heavyweight Title Bout Held In An African Country.

In One Of the Most Dramatic Fights In Boxing History, Ali's Strategy (The Rope-A-Dope), Was To Lay On The Ropes And Let Foreman Punch Himself Into Exhaustion. In The Eighth Round, He Knocked Foreman Out.

The Former Olympic Gold Medalist And World Famous Boxer, Won The Heavyweight Title Three Times -- 1964, 1974 And 1978.

Born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr, In Louisville , Kentucky, He Adopted The Name, Muhammad Ali When He Converted To Islam.

Ali's First Heavyweight Title Was Suspended After He Refused To Enlist In The Draft For The Vietnam War. Having Claimed "Conscientious Objection" As A Minister Of Islam, He Argued: "You won't even stand up for me here in America for my religious belief and you want me to go somewhere and fight, while you won't even stand up for me here at home." His Title Was Restored By A Supreme Court Ruling In 1970.

Muhammad Ali's Fame Transcends Sports And He Has Become A Symbol For Courage, Conviction And Black Manhood. It Has Been Said That His Is The Most Recognized Face In The World.

Derek who makes more the players or the owners? Are the owners still there when the player gets hurt to continue to make all of that money for the owners, too old to play or don't bring them in enough money that year????

Or are you willing to shell out the same money to see the Knigs play as the ones who won last year those rings...Every thing is about money, but I gather like my son in law you are willing to watch them play, ect.(smile)

but, lets face it those who go to put their nickles in to those slot machines do not live in the mansions that their coins allow these people to have now does it..so the rich always must depend on the poor to remain rich...WAKE UP ...(smile)THERE ARE NO POOR PEOPLE IN CONGRESS....LOL

It is my belief that one should never expect someone else to do for them what they can do for them selves, for example how much of your salary do you give away...after taxes to the poor and homeless?

If you have a roof over your head then you are better off than those who don't have one. Are you willing to give them your home? If you have a job are you willing to give it away to one who has no job? Give away your car, your clothes, etc.

I have no need for fame or forturn...actuallly I sometimes wonder how often do they worry that their family members may get kidnapped, how many of their family members, friends and even people who don't know them hate them for not giving them their earnings....I am so glad that if I did not earn the things I want and need than I don't need them that bad and bless those who have more just as those who have less...another example,

I believe that our president would rather be president than earning millions and millions on the ball court. At his age he would be washed up any way...so to each their own choices in how to make their life the best they know how to do or want to do or need to do...

Sorry Gaddy for gooing so far off topic but, Ali did what he was good at, our president did to and they don't owe me any thing nor does the richest person in the world own me anything. It is theirs and nothing has stoped anyone from trying to do their best even if they are now homeless or own 20 homes.(smile)
