Wayne Brady Hosts Let's Make A Deal (194 hits)

I missed the memo on this one.

I turned on my TV set to take a break from housework and when it came on singer Wayne Brady was trying to get a woman dressed as a ketchup bottle to trade her $600 for what was behind curtain number two. She picked the curtain and got a zonk. Sister-Girl wasn't too happy.

Wayne Brady has to be the hardest working man in show business... next to Law and Order actor Anthony Anderson. Brady's new spin on the Monty Hall classic is good. He's personable, the prizes are great, but he has put his "mark" on the show with his some of the games. I may have to get tickets for this show which is located in Las Vegas.

The man can sing and dance. He first came to my attention from comedian Drew Carey's show, Whose Line Is It Anyway? He was really the only reason I watched. Carey was smart and knew it. He then made him a regular cast member. I still remember when he did "The Lord of The Dance" with a contestant during an impromptu singing skit. From there, his star power took off.

He's won an Emmy for hosting his own talk show. He's released albums and CDs.

His appearance on "The Dave Chappelle Show" as a bad guy in a skit making fun of himself took his popularity to new heights. Chappelle was right; people love him.

His hosting duties on "Don't Forget The Lyrics" beat out his competition Joey Fatone (of N'Sync fame) and NBC's cheesy,"The Singing Bee." Remember that show? NBC should have dumped Fatone and hired Brady. He's a natural.

Is there anything Wayne Brady can't do? Apparently, the answer is "no".
