Homicide detectives have been assigned to the auto accident death of Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver, Chris Henry. The 26 died this morning. The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Henry was wounded after he jumped into the bed of a moving pickup truck driven by his fiancee, Loleini Tonga. The report says A dispute continued between the two, and at some point Henry "came out of the back" of the truck. He was found by police on the side of a residential road in critical condition

Domestic violence is a significant problem in our country though most of the time women get injured, sometimes men get hurt too, as in this case with Chris. I talk about this violence in my soon to be released book,
"Black Men Stop!", in Chapters FIVE "WHO ARE YOU" AND SIX "WHAT'S LEFT". Years ago, domestic violence concerned me so, that as a television journalist, I did a special project called, "
Crimes of Passion". Click here to see an excerpt, about 3:00 minutes into video. This documented men AND women who, in a matter of just a few moments, made life altering decisions in the midst of passionate and violent arguments with intimate partners.
My prayers go out to Chris's family, especially the 3 children left without their father. The results of any homicide investigation involving their mama, is still to come.
