Twisted Clips!
A new 13-episode TV show is seeking original short films by Independent Filmmakers from across the globe that meet one of the 13 themes (see show episodes below). This is a TV show showcasing the most twisted short films ever made by independent digital moviemakers. The lovely, yet twisted host, Courtney Gant, will introduce each short, it’s producer, editor, cinematographer and director. This is your chance to get some real exposure for your work. Challenge yourself to create artistic and entertaining short films that is based on of our our 13 themes. Use your imagination and create your own short film utilizing one of the themes. It’s your interpretation. Get the audience sick. Get them twisted. Meet the challenge to create a TWISTED CLIP! To enter, send an email to producer, Ted Irving, at tedirving@yahoo.com. Once an email from you is received, a submission/application contract will be emailed to you. For submission rules read below.
Submission Information
Filmmakers can enter a single short in only two episodes. Example, a filmmaker can enter a short in show 5 and then enter another short in show 9. Submissions must be two to three minutes in length and shot in HD (1920 x 1080) or HDV (1440 x 1080). All submissions must be in the Quick Time format (24fps, 48khz audio) on a DVD-ROM in one of the following codec’s:
a. HDV 1080p 24
b. DVCPro HD 1080p25
c. 8 bit Uncompressed 4:2:2 (if it will fit on a DVD-R or DVD+R DL)
Discs and submissions are non-returnable.
Submission Time Table
All submission must be mailed between December 5th, 2009 and April 1, 2010. Show airdate is September 2010.
