A point is hear the word elephant and give your mind a few seconds and the subconscious will bring up to conscious level a large four legged animal with large ear and a trunk. Or if you hear the word giraffe, a spotted animal with a very large neck will soon appear in your conscious mind. OK then, If you are black and you hear the word "car" what do you see. No doubt, after seconds maybe 10 seconds that a car will appear in your head. Now lets say the word "Heaven" and you hear this all the time. The Bible speaks about it and makes it so you want to get there. In fact, the general mood is to want to go to heaven. Hollywood has produced some pictures of their concoction of heaven with the clouds and all. But basically, when you hear the word heaven and you are black, more than likely you see nothing. We have never had nothing of value of our own, really. Our foreparents worked and lived for the slavemaster.....and all we wanted was what the slavemaster wanted. And when the slavemaster got sick, we sought to make the master get better. The point is that you cannot fool yourself. Sure, the Bible tells things about heaven, like there will be no sickness and aging. But, that does not help our subconscious see it. In the Holy Quran, it will describe paradise of flowing rivers and gardens and raised couches. But, it stops short of describing a vivid picture. Again, you can try to kid yourself but both books leave you without a clear picture. And that is one way you can tell an imposter from the real thing. Recently, had my book published called 21st Century Vision for Black America, www.trafford.com/06-2972 If you get a chance to read this book, by the time you finish the last chapter, things will be differant in your life. Because if someone say the word "heaven" a picture will come into your head. It took me a great deal of research since it is a non-fiction book......basically,the book develops a framework to approach what heaven used to be to what happened from a scientist point of view and then pointing out where we our at present time. That is from a life's worth. What are black Americans doing on earth at present, in other words. Then it ends with 2 chapter developing the vision right before your eyes....taking you every step of the way to heaven on earth with you in it.

Happy New Year Bro. Jamal,
You have an interesting point, but I think it really depends on your walk with Christ. Not limited to bible and hollywood, but heaven is developed into and by your personal relationship with God. In that sense, God will show you Heaven. Through your faith and walk with Christ, you will arrive in Heaven as well.
I think that your book would probably show readers "your" heaven. Smile.

Do appreciate your approach. Its just that this blog takes the abstract out of it. That is, Heaven actually is a place. Unless you will have people believe that Heaven is no place. What my book talk about is "heaven" the place as described in the Bible and Holy Quran. Cannot really take credit for the content of the vision, because prior my visit to Egypt and entering the great Pyramids passing through the corridors and observing the hiroglyphics on the wall with my own eyes and visiting inside the Sphinx through the door at the paw of the Lion, I had no vision. It was only after my trip, that the vision came to me which was a true inspiration of the One God. That is when the decision came to me to write the book. So would say that Almighty God gets credit for Heaven being unfolded in the book.

I can't see the difference between religious mumbo jumbo and scientific mumbo jumbo. I'm making this in reference to a few of your topics I've read lately. You seem to be pretty fixed on the idea science will do for Blacks what religion and almost everything else has failed to do. I think you fail to see that Unity and Security will need to established before we can venture any other solutions. I can imagine in African an automatic factory as you vision and then a mile down the road they are killing villagers and raping young girls because they think having s*x with a virgin will cure Aids. Lol.
It's funny that a man of your intellect fails to understand history or at least it seems from my point of view. Like take for instance, many people fail to realise that Menes or Narmer waged a war before establishing the Old Kingdom. The Old Kingdom was known for it's marvelous scientific inventions and innovations and the famous scientist Imhotep was also born during this time. Yet known this would have been possible without Unity and Security being in place first. So while I applaud your intellectual effort I think it's ahead of it's time.
In conclusion, If you can see heaven I'm certain you can see hell. Lol. And there will be nothing but hell if you try to establish your ideas with there being Unity amongst the people and Security.

Unless you consider natures physical laws that run the universemumbo jumbo, then I beg to differ. But, of course unity is important as well as security. Its just that I take a scientist approach. For example, there are about 40 million black Americans. But historically, no man of god ever got all the people. Moses did not convince everyone that to leave Egypt was the best thing.
The Industrial Revolution occurred about 19th century. It meant major inventions of the sciences that made all the differance between the powerful nations and weak or inferior nations. Much like how you are making light of math and science innovations, our African ancestors made the same miscalculations. While they were sleeping, European and American civilization were coming up with 10 major innovations: there was Thomas Edison and the phonograph & light bulb(or lewis latimore); there was Samuel Morse and the telegraph and morse code making for information transmission; There was Alexander Bell and the telephone; Elias Howe/Isaac Singer and the sewing machine to revolutionize the garmet industry; Cyrus McCormick and the mechanical reapear for harvesting crop much faster and efficiently; George Eastman and the Kodak camera allowing for black & white snapshots of events; Charles Goodyear and vulcanized rubber allowing rubber to withstand high pressure making for many uses; Nikola Tesla and AC electrical power systems and radio; George Westinghouse and the transformer for stepping up or down electrical voltage; and Dr. Richard Gatling and the famous Gatlin Gun used exclusively in the Spanish American War. It was this period of utilizing the facets of math and science that put the darker nations under the feet of the Europeans and Americans. Africa prior to the industrial revolution remained a contender in turns of industrial might but after the industrial revolution, the Europeans literally slaughtered the black Africans at will.
Certainly unity and security are important. This is common knowledge. that is why the first thing the Europeans did was to use their new inventions for defense and the military....that is simply the unspoken truth. Security will be to the extent of our national interest and will be taken up under a forum conducive to credible measures being taken. Not in a forum that hurts more than helps.

I'm guessing you're tryna convince yourself that I'm downing Science and Math or you're just doing that to convince others and appear to win the argument. Look I never said that Science or Math wasn't important but that it stood it's place behind Unity and Security. I gave you an example or analogy and you responded telling me how Europeans conquered Africa with Technological weapons.
When I say mumbo jumbo let me tell you what I meant by that use of an insult. Mumbo Jumbo usually refers to some words of false logic jumbo'd together to represent a theory or truth in life when in fact it's nothing but nonsense. You speak as if Science and Math will cure Africa like Africa is this backwards place. Who put the idea in your head that the lack of technology is backwards? They are 21 distinct civilizations on this planet and never has been a time when they all assimilated into one. So technological civilizations will not rule out the others at no time. It didn't happen during Egypt's reign, Greece, Cathagen, Rome nor China's. All civilizations have their modes of survival and providing happiness to their people. What has value in one civilization has no value in another.
Your problem is that you have been assimilated into Western Culture and worst into Technology like it's your God or something. Western Civilizations seeks to put an end to death with Medical Science as if Death is the final destination of spirit. It's seeks to use genetics to pick and choose which traits to be born with as if the natural way of properly selecting mates and traditions of man don't do this already. Technology has rendered so many people into not using their enormous mind potential because technology has become such and intermediatary for them that they can't count without using a calculator or write without typing.
You down Africa constantly in your posts which is why I had to get on you soon or later. Africa produced many great civilizations that put forth great theorems of Science and Math. Africa can easy pick up where it left off from but what stands in the way is social de-evolution. Central governments in Africa waned and grew weak and allowed security situations and injustices to reign that it lead to trafficking of it's people as slaves worldwide and finally colonialism. Europeans you praise so much your masters simply were at a key point in their development and cunning enough to take advantage of it. African prophets warned and foretold of this event long before the fall of Africa but they didn't listen like you're not listening now.

Journey....as in traveling....you're dreaming. Heaven is a place. Seem to be quick with the tongue, but short on answers. Then, what do you see ? Lets face it, Robert, you see absolutely nothing. It is because black Americans have never known nothing. Other than what the white man made for us. But you cannot fool your subconscious. It is the deep down pit of what know. And when the word is spoken, there is nothing there, because, we have never experienced nothing close to heaven. Even Tiger Woods was given a spotlight from white civilization and taken from him in an instant.

Again, Heaven is a noun. What is a noun...it is a person, place or thing. Certainly, heaven is not a person or thing....that leaves it as a place. And you've bore witness that you see nothing because you reported nothing. Typically, when black Americans cannot hack the courses in science in college they start to deduce they don't need it.....because, they cannot handle the math content.
Iraq is 97% Muslim.(60% Shi'a,37% Sunni). With all their history when the American war machine invaded Iraq with their high tech equipment, the Iraq army ran like a bunch of flying geese. They went scrambling. Why, It is because they knowledge is archaic, backwards, OLD. Their knowledge could not stand up to the modernization that math and science has afforded the European/American civilization. It is this advanced civilization that has trained me, not in their wicked ways, but their mastery of the sciences....which they stoled from the Black African while he was sleeping. America kicked the pants off Iraq and had their leader hung.....and there was nothing Iraq could do about it because European/American civilization learned what Black civilization forgot which is that valuation of math and science is the differance between a weak or superior nation.
Almighty God Allah permitted the American experience for black slaves to learn how to build and work more efficiently. There is surely, the bad aspects of European/pagan governments like America, but the good is that they are superior in the math and science application to the quality of life. It reminds me of Soddam Hussain ranting when he was Alive of how tough Irag would defend their soverinty and destroy the infidel American if they should invade their country.

God the Creator, the Author and Finisher of faith (Hebrews 12:2 NIV) kept things pretty plain and simple. While certainly there are great scientists, mathematicians, engineers, etc., God's word is truth.
In Gen. 14:18 God is the Creator of HEAVEN and Earth. Plain and simple.

My father would teach me things as a little boy, like how to fix a lawnmower, how to put build a fense( we had horses out back) and how to lay a house foundation. Years later when we added an addition on our home, my father had me take a lead role in laying the foundation. He was so pleased that I had learned what he taught me and he went on doing other things so as to finish the task much faster.
Almighty God, the Creator, could do everything needed by man HIMSELF. In his infinite wisdom, God could erect buildings, build tools and assemble transportation. Instead, he leaves work for man to do. Man that studies his natural laws and executes accordingly. Society calls these people scientists, mathematicians and engineers to name a few. Almighty God gets no great pleasure if He has to do everything HIMSELF. But when man can learn to build that which benefits society, That makes the One God very pleased.
