Today, The Black Scholars Index features Dr. William H. Harris, current President of Alabama State University (ASU). He was one of the youngest appointed presidents ever (Paine College), he has served as President of ASU twice. He has dedicated many years in higher education and is the author of Keeping the Faith: A. Phillip Randolph, Milton P. Webster, and the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters and The Harder We Run: Black Workers Since the Civil War. Check him out!
