A freed people from slavery since 1865 and having built the land of America from the ground up addresses the issue of qualifications. Black Americans having worked at Bendix, GE, Ford, Chrysler, AT&T, Control Data, Hewlett Packard, GM, Procter & Gamble, Colgate, Universal Studios and so many more companies. Then then state with the largest Budget...NEW YORK...a black governor....Then the most powerful nation on earth....An American Black President. It seems the American Experience was to qualify black Americans to rule their own land. Can you think of a single country in Africa with as many qualified Black people ?

Irma, Good Morning
You mention legitimate concerns and it is the kind of intelligent dialogue that moves us closer to the target. My expertise is in project management and particular in power, process manufacturing and controls engineering. Thus, first I define the matter of land for black Americans as a "project" . Lets give the project a name "Nation Building". Now, Lets take your concerns one at a time. First you ask "when" ....Considering the climate of unemployment, crime, war on terrorism....it could vary anywhere from 5 years to 10 years from now for initial deployment. There are many professional, skilled and vary talented black Americans out of work. Many have desperately tried to get a job and are running out of unemployment compensation. These are prime candidates to get involved in setting up a new nation since they would get compensated. Secondly, you ask "How". In the arena of project management there is General Contractor. The duties of the GC is to take overall administrative responsibilities for implementing solution for project completion. The GC will delegate subcontractors for particular components to the overall project. For Example PROJECT NATION BUILDING would assign subcontractors to handle things like; (1) Irrigation of the land (2) Power Distribution (3) Security and Defense (4) Waste Water Treatment (5) Manufacturing and Metal Working......etc. Each Sub contractor would have a budget and time schedule. Then you asked "Where" ......All things considered, the best place would be in Africa....but not just anywhere in Africa. It would be best to be in a country in Africa that is currently in the mode for modernization and industrialization. Also, it would need to be in a country in Africa that is not currently engaged in civil war. For example, Nigeria, Somalia, Yemen would be out of the question. Basically, in exchange for delivering expertise in defined areas of modernization...they would give us land. It would have to be a country that has a coastline.....that is borders a body of water. Take for instance Tanzania....It would be an ideal place.
Finally, Irma, have you ever heard of an American going to Africa for schooling...that is ...college. For the most part, persons from Africa come to America for schooling because here is where the best colleges and universities are.....that is the best professors. So I don't pay NO attention to Africans trying to put Black Americans down. They rape their own people....hack them to death....drink from the same water they bathe in....no they eat monkey and elephant meat.... so what can they tell us about acting civilized. No...we can teach them. My best estimate is that initially the project NATION BUILDING would employ 1-2 thousand black Americans.....After the rest of Black Americans witness the success of the project....then more will eagerly want to get involved.

You ask me questions....I answer your questions. You say invasion....I never come close to talking about invasion. Perhaps you should read my profile before you call some ignorant....than read yours. Now lets go further. We are talking about contract work with a sovereign country. If TanZania for instance want to contract with Black Americans to set up modernized power distribution system in their country in exchange for x number of acres of land....it is between that country and us. We are Black and they are black. Germany is white. They have no love for the people of Africa but I do. Some of the best professors in the entire world are in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BECAUSE THEY ARE PAID. And the proof is the puddin. America is the most modernized technologically advanced nation on the planet earth. And it is not by accident....it is because of the colleges and universities and the industries that are generated as a result. But if you wish not to engage with me intelligently without calling me ignorant...than case closed. PS I do not have a masters degree in EE because I am ignorant

Nothing you have mentioned can be discounted. Only, how much can you mention on a blog with a few paragraphs ? Through the use of my book and the launch of my American Tour performing book signing at Borders and libraries across U.S. have been accumulating a list of Black Americans with similar mindset and matching their expertise with tasks required for the project. The list is growing and with the use of the internet...look to start a group that consists of individuals like yourself with experience with the kind of issues you mention. That is why no one person can accomplish this...so I have been using people's profile as a source to organize. Naturally, most Black Americans can not jump unless the white man tells them to jump. This project is not for them. But out of 40 million black Americans, to start looking for about 2 thousand to address the (1) needs analysis of each African country (2) risk management (3) resources availability and others. You have mentioned some that would need to be included. Thats why I asked you to be my friend.
No, we would not be subject to the laws of the Host Country...to the extent that we do not contribute to any imbalances in the ecosystem of the environment. The business arrangement would be "technical services" in exchange for land. An itemization of each task for completion of the project would be identified with an individuals name associated with it. That individual would be a black American.
You mention government....yes, we would need a set of rules and guidelines that we would abide accordingly. We are a very religious people so haven't mentioned much about government yet. A future blog will address that. Not just any African country would want to slice up a part of their land in exchange for a major upgrade in modernization and industrialization....but some would. It is those that "would" that we approach and negotiate. You introduce the type of exchange of point that I enjoy !

Yes, to the extent that lessons can be learned from the shortcomings of the Chinese interests in Africa, plan is to stay abreasts of their movements and activities. As The chinese face an explosion in their population growth, certainly they want to keep their hand in Africa....but, I'm counting on the African countries wising up. In my book, 21st Century Vision for Black America, a filtering system is applied to which countries would be considered for upgrade initiatives. Some of the filtering mechanisms are location, civil war, natural resources, affinity to higher education and more. You probably guess that Tanzania is one of the countries but hopefully you may obtain the book to grasp the big picture.

OK Irma ...let put things in perspective. We have both heard of Ethiopia. Land of about 1 million sq. km with 85 million people with an economy of 70 billion PPP(purchasing power parity) and about 1/2 its people part of their labor force and the other 1/2 out of work. Compare that with say Japan about 1/3 the size and 127 million people. Thats right almost double the people. But, it has an ecomomy of 4 trillion dollars. and unemployment at 4%. No doubt, People in Japan are not just surviving....they are living. My point is that yes, hats off to our ancestors for learning to survive. But it is one thing to survive and quite another to live. Its like swimming where the one person is treading water staying afloat while the other is actually swimming covering distance and going places. The drive that is spoke about hear is to make an upgrade to particular countries in Africa....not to contribute to their demise.
Irma, have never bought a gun for the purpose of killing an animal and having a taxidermist stuff so as to put on my mantle at home..no way...would never and not about killing Africa's exotic animals for personal grandisement. More to the drive to help put Africa back on the map of greatness like she one was when she appreciated the value of math and science before resorting to pseudo science and witchcraft and sorcery. The areas of improvement the PROJECT NATION BUILDING would bring to Africa would enable them to enjoy the quality of life that every human being should receive.....clean running water in the home, being able to bathe at will, having electricity in the home for cooking and refrigeration. This is not pushing my ideas of quality on them but just putting common sense to it.

I am hearing all of this runing "our" counrty...but the main things that are going to be needed to accoplish this is never a part of this goal...
some major things like A. When.....B. HOw...C. where and most of all by whom and whose money, time, efforts to design and build it and provide small but nessery things likd food, water and shelter as a start...
Thase people you meantioed already have all of the things needed to survive. so so Me and my family so how does this system work is some detail...say do you expect anyone to give up what they have that they have worked all of their lives to get exactly what they alway pland to do for themselves and their family, community,friends...
I am trying to find out from you if their best is not for your taste-value -standard so you plan to teach them what they need ?.........................Just trying to get the hange of this brand new land type as it seem to be a new, better land idea each day on ths site lately.
It is so funny, because I have not seen on person on this site as long as i have been a member having a sob story. And, this is what threw me for a loop.I don't think that as much as I have seen in programs on tv and in movies, I still know nothing about Africa.I met a lot of Africans at college, but I have never met a poor African. The honest Africans I have met say African-American are not welcome there. HOw they can't be trusted.
These African students tend to be sponsored in America by White people...They get taught about us the same way we learn in school...we are nonconsructive, violent, not unified...or they can just become members of ths site as of late.(I am not smiling at these truths)
I know that "I" am free because I have such self-love and self esteem...my goal in life is to be happy, which means I have limitless powers to remove an and all obsticles trying to stop me from being HAPPY ME(smile)
I wanted for nothing before either of those you seak were born, and have even more than back then...its all paid for now(smile)

Jamal, one of the worst things one can do is try to put a value be it financial or moral on people they know nothing about...for example, you have said what Blacks should be doing without giving any thought (?) as to if this is not exactly what they are doing?
AND, DoING IT BECAUSE IT IS TO HELP THEMSELVES AND MANKIND AS WLL AS THEIR COUNTRY...AND AS FAR AS THE EDUCATION PART...OUR IVY LEAGUE COLLEGES GET THEIR PROFESSORS FROM ENGLAND, BECAUSE EVEN THE RICH AND POWERFUL BELIEVE THAT AMERICA -AMERICAN PROFESSORS ARE NOT UP TO THE JOB...again it is a mistake(but it is your right) to place you own subjective moral and financial values/conclusions on others with only one , your choice source of information.(smile)

If it is civilized people who would kill animals for a trophy to hang in their mansions-summer homes taking away natural animal habitats to build these dwellings and not just killing these animals for food while demanding these animals are not run out of roomto live as they have since the begining of time...
for those not taken for sport to be condemned to starve or go with water, selter, ectl...please, continue to count me in along with these uncivilized peoples with dark skin.(smile)
And, avoiding ones own declarations that people's needs to be having others come into their country witout any ragards for them and their hundreds of thousands of years of survival is a shame in its self... EQUAILTY BY WAY OF PROVING YOU ARE LESS THEN...what a pity and an excuse tor calling one self civilized and protecting and loving and caring...I AM PROUD TO NOT BE SO CIVILIZED THAT I MUST AVOID TRUTH AND REALITY TO SAY BY VOIDING OUT THE PARTS NOT TO ONE'S OWN PERSONAL LOGICAL ARGUMENTS as proofs that one is correct.(smile)

# You did not say "I-f" nor did "I" call you ignorant...I did say "it is ignorant"...but, "I" will state tis as fact, I do not do personal dialogue, I deal in the objective...such as English professors...please check out where the former prime minister is...whee our former president Bill Clinton was educated, ect. Not only do those students come here from Amrica for an educaton, they come here only if they spend years trying to prove they do not have TB as the greatest obsticles to getting here with their White sponsors... to work and send money back home to their other wives and familys..to learn that those movies and tv programs are wrong...because there are many, many Black people in America...WAKE UP AND TALK DIRECTLY WITH THE CITIZENS OF AFRICA ON WHAT IS GOING ON IN THEIR COUTRY AS i HAVE.(smile)
