The 9th to 13th centuries often known as "Golden Age" of Islamic civilization, when scholars of the Muslim world made important contributions in both the sciences and humanities: medicine, mathematics, astronomy, chemistry, literature and physics. Under Abbasid rule, Baghdad became a city of museums, hospitals, libraries, and mosques. Most of the famous Muslim scholars from had their educational roots in Baghdad. Approximately 1000 years later, a johnny come lately country, America, only about 240 years since independance was able to beat the pants off of Baghdad. When the American infidel came charging at Baghdad with their advances in science and technology, it sent the ancient Muslim civilization running through the desert. The best they could do for their leader is have him hide in a funky Rat Hole. It is obvious that the knowledge has left Baghdad. His sons were killed and Hussain was hung...this is a sign that science scholars live now in America...the west...where the black Americans reside.
For Baghdad to fall from being the world's richest and most intellectual city of the time, and was second in size only to Constantinople to a place of ruins, slain leader and humiliated before the world must send a signal that the Muslim world lost track of the time and let their Christian advasary catch up and pass them.. HOW...
It is quite simple....Religion began to suppress the pursuit of knowledge and oppose to being a compliment. Religious leaders sought to compete with the professors of math and science. Even today, religious fanatics that they know more about chemistry than the trained degreed chemist. Unlike in America...when the call is for a biologist, they don't call the preacher....when the call is for a entomologist, they don't call the Imam......when the call is for a engineer....they don't call for a deacon.
One of the most famous centers of learning was Bayt al-Hikmah (the House of Wisdom), known for its teachers and scientist thoughout the world. They studied the works of Aristotle, Plato, Hippocrates, Euclid, and Pythagoras. In fact the founding father of algebra called this area home. But, only the darker civilization put their belief system ahead of their fact system. Their worship system took precedence over their data collecting system and as a result, America that utilizes her mathematicians and engineers to the ninth degree beat the pants off of Baghdad.
