Real Medical Care--The Skin We Live In Part 2 (149 hits)

When it comes to real medical care, I think very few doctors consider you as a personal case. You'll find that in many doctors offices you're only a name or a number. If your uninsured, then you're probably non-existance to any doctor. There are plenty of doctors who show some kind of concern for his or her patients, then of course, others are in it for the funding of health insurance.

We are all aware of the big fight going on right now to reform health care in America --and that so many daily are losing health care insurance. This increases the lack of thousands to even visit or go see a doctor who are seriously needing health aid. That leads to people looking anywhere they can to find free health care clinics and doctors who will allow walk-in visits for patients. I think too, it's an overwhelming increase where patients become names, numbers and are not on the recieving end of getting good health care. This of course, is my opinion and I haven't any sound facts to base it own. With the exception of seeing this happen in everyday living.

About two days ago, a young lady approached me with her "unloading of depression" that she did not qualify to recieve free health insurance with a popular agency clinic in town. She wondered what had happened when doctors waited on patients that were ill ; and didn't look for pay --nor if they were unable to or even work out a payment plan. "The Good Country Doctor is gone." she said.. "They have all disappeared into the past." I connected with her encounters of memories where she talked of how doctors helped no matter who the patient was. Doctors offices are full, but there is question about the quality care their patients receive. She left and thanked me for listening.

Many people are suffering at home and are dying because they haven't health insurance to give them the aid they need. They are unable to even buy a personal health care plan, because the costs are paramount. That leaves them to cope with day to day pain and long-suffering. It is hope that our President and men of government will stop bickering over reform of health issues, and that doctors too, let up a little to take care of the patients with illness and health related concerns. Not just becoming names or numbers, but actually having a concern about their patient's health. We know that it effects many love ones in our families.

I don't know if it's because of the skin we live in, but I do know it's causes so many to give up looking and all too often finding and recieving quality real medical care. By the way, the young lady I spoke with was white.

I'll be back with more..soon. Thanks for stopping by.
