And another gone...and another gone...Another one bites the dusT! Just only a few days ago, the logo "Music Televison" which has flashed since 1981 is being dropped by MTV. I admit, I haven't watched MTV in a throw back and a half! It's all due to MTV new and on-going changes to spice up music shows and videos. One of the first, MTV has been around for almost 2 and half decades and the show has brought the video music shows that featured it's first hosts...Let's see well there has been quite a few.
The new host of one of it's newest shows will be one of most prominment rappers that everyone used to flock to see on MTV that's Snoop Dog. The rapper will be hosting his own spot on MTV titled "Dogg After Dark." MTV may be taking a risk, but it's programming is trying to attract a new generation of muisc watchers. Even and older audience would be urged to return. It's one of MTV's strategies is to improve present ratings and bring back it's once vibrant thriving audiences. Will Snoop Dogg make it work? Seven episodes are schedule to air every Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. You'll have to check listings in your area to watch.
I'll miss that MTV LOGO "MUSIC TELEVISION" but I'll get over it. Which reminds of of that logo " Everything old is new again" Well, we'll see if the dust will be in MTV's decision to lose the logo will find new viewers. I'll still remember Music Television.
